Today, AGBU honors the life of legendary journalist and columnist Hrant Dink, who was assassinated 18 years ago in İstanbul in front of Agos, the newspaper of which he was the editor-in-chief.

A hero and dear friend to all who knew him, Dink advocated for Armenian and human rights worldwide. His work, as crucial today as ever, inspires Armenian journalists everywhere and continues at the Hrant Dink Foundation. He will always be remembered for his ideas, iron will, courage, and empathy.
